Apple has always been innovative with its smartphone flagship: iPhone. Among its handsets, iPhone SE was among the popular categories. However, Apple has recently slowed down the production and marketing of the handset possibly to put stress over its latest iPhone models namely iPhone XR and XS. The newest update revealed that iPhone SE 2 is probably in the making.
According to Deccan Chronicle, iPhone SE is still selling at some Apple authorized retail stores. Although, the number of units of handset reported to be available is comparatively less in amount. This can be regarded as Apple's attempt to reveal a new advancement to the iPhone SE lineup, as the Cupertino based tech major used to do the similar manner while pushing or, even when it plans to push a new product in the market.
Other potential sources like ThinkApple, also made it clear that Apple is on its way to launch the next-gen iPhone SE 2. The source even claimed that the tech giant may officially unveil the handset by the end of Spring, in this year only. However, it was unable to point out any specific date or timeline, as such. The specifications and features of the smartphone are completely unknown.
Tech Garage, however, was able to chalk out some details about the upcoming handset. According to its claims, iPhone SE 2 will come with a sleek and bezel-less design altogether. The phone will reportedly come with wireless charging facility. It will boast a single lens rear camera, as per the latest insights. The camera setup will be similar to those of iPhone XS and XR. As for the front end of the handset, iPhone SE will have a Face ID and will feature a notch at the top end. Whether the notch will be designed in a flat manner or in the water drop pattern, is still a mystery.
As for the display, Apple is hinted to go for a new dimension with a 4.7-inch front panel, leaving behind its traditional 4.0-inch display. An alleged snap of a new iPhone concept, which is said to belong to the iPhone SE 2, was recently surfaced over the web. As seen in that snap, Apple iPhone SE 2 will have glass made back finishing. iPhone SE 2 is reported to follow the trend of its predecessor and will be placed at a mid-range price tag. All other details will be available as soon as Apple officially reveals the details about the handset.
