Nvidia new RTX series cards have already stunned many with its revolutionary technology. But it was also an utmost surprise to many how the company also uplifted the price index of the GeForce RTX cards. Nvidia is now well aware of the fact that a huge number of the gamers are waiting for a relative price drop of the RTX stunners. However, they gaming geeks can now have a new card to their shelves.

According to TechRadar, Nvidia's unwrapped its latest ray tracing technology with the RTX graphics cards. The ray-tracing technology surfaced the real-time experience of high-end gaming without any hassle. Also, in many cases, certain titles showcased better details while played over RTX GPUs in comparison to other graphics units. The RTX cards went onto higher standards in terms of pocket-friendliness as these were priced with high range tags. 

Speaking of affordability, Nvidia is reportedly also looking forward to revealing a new graphics card, coded as GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. The card will be price tagged at a comparatively wallet-friendly range as per latest updates. The graphics unit may not boast the latest ray-tracing technology as seen in RTX series. Therefore, the card has been placed in the GTX segment. But, according to the latest report by Digital Trends, it will boast an improved Turing technology which will be enough for the GTX 1660 Ti card to be placed beside the entry-level RTX cards.

GTX 1660 Ti will be similarly capable of basic RTX stunners, but as per the latest reports by many of the potential sources, it will cost less than USD 300. A few gaming analysts have even started regarding the next-gen GeForce GTX 1660 Ti card as a perfect upgrade to the existing GeForce GTX 1060 Ti card. A newly leaked benchmark of a popular title: Ashes of the Singularity carries the particular standpoint to support this view.

As per the benchmark, while the game was played on an alleged GTX 1660 Ti GPU, the system provided at least 20 percent faster and better performance than the predecessor GPU of the same category. As for the official release, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is reported to be unveiled by the end of February of this year only. While, another low-range younger brother of the same, namely GeForce GTX 1660 card is said to be released by the end of March. Other specifications are likely to be revealed as soon as Nvidia releases any insights about the card in coming days.
