Huawei P30 Pro leaked image just revealed a strangely arranged lens orientation on the phone's quad-camera setup. How odd is the strange lens arrangement?
The most recent leak photo that surfaced around the internet recently gave followers a hint on how the Huawei P30 Pro will look like. The leaked photo caught the attention of many with what they described as the strange lens orientation on the quad-camera setup of Huawei's latest phone.
WCCFTech hints that the latest Huawei P30 leak photo reveals a rather unusual rear camera arrangement. The back casing of the P20 Pro successor shows a bigger than the usual sensor housing. Inside the sensor housing are two vertical rows.
According to the latest Huawei P30 Pro leak image by known leaker Slashleaks, the left row at the back casing of the device consists of four vertically aligned lenses. The two upper parts are the dual-camera set up while the flash and the camera sensor are aligned underneath.
The second on the right part which shows to be a lot smaller than the left sensor housing is where the two other camera sensors can be found vertically aligned as well. Just below the two camera sensors, is one lens while the ToF, Time of Flight 3D sensor is located at the bottom part of the right vertical lens alignment.
The most recent Huawei P30 Pro photo leak that apparently reveals a strangely arranged Quad-camera set-up lens orientation was acquired with the help of case makers. Phone manufacturers release certain information to case maker months before their devices' official release so that case manufacturers will have available cases once the devices are out in the market.
As of the moment, the Huawei P30 Pro leak image can only reveal tidbits on how the device would look like and some specifics on the lens and camera hole sizes since no specifications are given to the case makers. This quad-camera phone is expected to be released at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month.
Aside from the strange lens arrangement, the most significant information about the Huawei P20 successor right now is that the back sensor will be 38MP Leica-branded. The lenses are also rumored that Sony will be behind the Huawei P30 sensors.
This leak is a follow up on the December Huawei P30 render released by Ben Geskin, a known tipster following a render released by Mobile Fun. The first line up of renders revealed that P30 will be using an Olixir Mobile case, according to The Indian Express.
