Since its official launch, Apple's AirPods has been a popular product in demand. The company's attempt to leave up the traditional audio-jack and take up the advantage of a pair of wireless earpods, has turned out to be a remarkable development. After the huge success of the first generation of AirPods, it is time for the AirPods 2. A new insight noted that AirPods 2 will look identical to the first edition, despite certain minor changes.
According to GSMArena, AirPods 2 was first spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website in November 2018. The update then confirmed that it will enable support for the newer Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy standard. The second gen AirPods will be released sometime in the later part of the year. Most probably, Apple will stick to its usual timeline of September when it is likely to unveil the iPhone 11 series as well. However, according to the updates from a company insider, Apple AirPods 2 will look exactly similar to the original AirPods (i.e: the first edition of the same). But it will boast some spectacular advancements under the hood.
As per reliable sources, Apple AirPods 2 will have a better and improved bass response than its predecessor. Besides that, the upcoming wireless earphones may come with a new coating on the top of these, similar to the one Google uses for its Pixel smartphones, for the ease of grip of the users. The AirPods 2 will have extensive health-related features as well, as per the latest reports. As per a report by MySmartPrice, AirPods 2 will have a unique heartbeat sensor. This will be able to sense the beating rate of the heart of a user when he is walking or when he is jogging. AirPods 2 will also reportedly have a better and improved battery. The latest one will boast enhanced capabilities for improved power back up when the user is in outdoors.
As for the Priceline, Apple has not quoted any official statement or hints which can be traced as AirPods 2's price range. But, according to the majority of smartphone analysts and reliable sources, AirPods 2 will be price tagged in somewhere between USD 150 to USD 200. Speaking of wireless charging, AirPower, which is Apple's most anticipated wireless charging mat, has been indicated to be shipped in the spring of this year. Earlier, it was expected to be shipped in the last year only. The other features of the same are still unknown.
