HMD Global is just days away from making its next event. The company is expected to uncover its next handset: Nokia 9 PureView at that event only. The smartphone has already started getting numerous teasers and leaks alongside another masterpiece: Nokia 1 Plus. Nokia 9 PureView was reportedly seen over FCC benchmarking. Also, both the handsets reportedly appeared on Google Play Store listing.
According to GSMArena, Nokia 9 PureView appeared in FCC listing recently, alongside its expected set of specifications. As per the revelation, Nokia 9 PureView will come in two variants: the primary one with single sim capacity and the second one with dual sim capability. Android One logo is present in both versions. Nokia 9 PureView will be capable of fast charging with 5/9/12V capacity. FCC's documents quoted that Nokia 9 PureView will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Nokia 1 Plus will have microSD ports as per the FCC docs. The smartphone will also launch in two versions: one of single sim and other of dual sim setup. It will use a micro-USB port charging with 5W charger. Nokia 1 Plus will have 3.5mm audio jack at the top of it. As for power backup, it will boast a 2500 mAh battery. It is reportedly going to be a part of the Android Go project.
Nokia 9 has been confirmed to be called as Nokia 9 PureView. One of the images of FCC renders has clearly shown the name of the phone as 'NOKIA 9 PUREVIEW' and a corresponding model number TA-1087 DS, where the DS reportedly stands for Dual-SIM. The single SIM version of Nokia 9 PureView will have the model number TA-1087. Besides these, Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 1 Plus have also been spotted on Google's official Play Store listing.
As per the latest report by Gadget 360, NokiaPowerUser indicated that it has seen Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 1 Plus on the listing of the Google Play Store supported devices. Not much about Nokia 1 Plus have been revealed by any of the potential or, reliable sources. The battery capacity, as well as the operating system of the handset, are not known yet.
The majority of smartphone analysts are even in the clouds with the handset. The expected price range of both is still a mystery. HMD Global has already set its event on February 24, during the occasion of Mobile World Congress-2019 in Barcelona. We have to wait a bit more to know further details about both the upcoming stunners.
