GOT7 New Subunit JUS2

GOT7 has just revealed the first set of debut teaser images of its new subunit JUS2, featuring lead JB and maknae Yugyeom. The two will be the members of the subunit and they will be debuting their first solo mini album "Focus."

JYP Entertainment has been previously dropping hints about a possible release from GOT7 on February 13 at 12 a.m. KST. Fans speculated that the 18-second video is about the world tour of the boy group. But on that same say, the entertainment company released a photo with a caption of just three words: JUS2, mini album, and "Focus".

Fans were really excited with GOT7's new subunit, and after a day of speculations, JYP Entertainment has finally dropped the first set of teaser images for the upcoming subunit JUS2, Allkpop reported. The black-and-white photos featured leader JB and maknae Yugyeom, the duo radiates fierce charisma in the teaser images for its mini album "Focus."

IGOT7s were also excited to see the leader and the youngest member forming a duo as both of them have already proven their skills in songwriting, singing, as well as performing. It's really interesting to see the two collaborating and fuse together in a mini album. GOT7 has formed units for several singles and performances, but JUS2 will be the second official subunit of the boy group after JJ Project, which consists of JB and Jinyoung.

Even before the teaser images were released, both JB and Yugyeom were already dropping hints about their possible collaboration on their Instagram accounts. The GOT7 leader uploaded a photo of a star and tagged Yugyeom. And then after a few hours, the youngest member posted a photo of a star as well, wherein when put side-by-side with the photo shared by JB, they will connect and will form a diagonal line.

After revealing the identity of JUS2, the schedule for their debut with first solo mini album "Focus" has been revealed as well. Fans can expect the music video this coming March 4 at 12 a.m. KST, while the debut of the album will reportedly be out on March 5 at 6 p.m. KST. On that same day, the duo will reportedly hold a live premiere with V Live at the Walkerhill Theater in Seoul.

The new subunit JUS2 will also debut to seven Asian cities outside of South Korea. Both JB and Yugyeom will hold their "Focus" Premiere Showcase in Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Osaka, Taipei, Tokyo, and Macau.
