The 92-year-old Queen of the United Kingdom Elizabeth II is allegedly showing signs of dementia now. This prompts the royal monarch to choose her successor to the crown, which insiders claim made her go against the royal protocol for the line of succession that has already been in their family for over 300 years.
According to some reports that have recently circulated the web, since the royal monarch has started to feel weak since "suffering from dementia," she then has decided to choose the rightful one that will inherit her throne.
Gossip Cop reveals that the Queen's heart is more focused on her grandson, Prince William and her wife Kate Middleton to be her next in line instead of her own child Prince Charles as revealed during a "rare moment of clarity."
As per the royal protocol, Queen's oldest son Prince William and his other half Camilla Parker-Bowles, who are the parents of Princes William and Harry, are the next in line to be the King and Queen of England.
But amid this royal law, a palace insider shared how the Queen never really has high regards on his son especially that he "lacked the fortitude to rule." So instead of embracing their royal law, the Queen of England has thrown the "protocol out the window and... deciding to skip a generation and name her favorite grandson instead of her oldest son as the next monarch."
Insiders further claim that the Queen's reason for such decision is not just because of his son's inability to rule and her closeness to her favorite grandson, but also because of how he sees the prowess of Prince William to rule a great nation with all his "strength and discipline to lead." Aside from the given reason, "the people like him [Prince William] and say he's more genuine than his father ever was."
It is not just Prince William that the Queen has high regards to. The insider also reveals that the Queen also has her eyes focused on Kate Middleton as one of the best women the Kingdom has at present. The monarch believes that with the Duchess of Cambridge "compassion and composure," she will surely be able to rule her people after she passes her the crown.
However, whether or not the Queen really love to skip a generation in deciding who her next monarch will be, the International Business Times reports how she got no choice but to follow the Settlement Act of 1701 and the Bill of Rights of 1689, which set the grounds of the royal family in passing on the royal duties of being a monarch, and still choose Prince Charles to be the King after her.
