America's longest running scripted drama has something intriguing to offer as of late. Days Of Our Lives presents Judith Chapman's Diana Cooper character plotting the elimination of Deidre Hall's Marlena Evans.
The love triangle will always be complicated but this time, it gets really dangerous. Cooper has John Black's Drake Hogestyn on her sights. She badly wants him all for herself. The only problem is will the gentleman reciprocate her feelings back. Days Of Our Lives will churn out lots of tension along the way.
Getting Hogestyn seems far-fetched considering that he has Evans to love forever. Knowing Cooper's personality, treacherous schemes are probably underway. Of course, the idea is to take Marlena out of the picture. The only question remaining will be how.
For a while, Cooper has a valid reason to stay in Salem. Her son Leo Stark, who is depicted by Greg Rikaart, is there. Her justification to stick around has been further reinforced by the fact that her precious boy is acquainted with Black's character.
Even with the strong bond between Evans and Hogestyn standing in her way, Cooper has an ace up her sleeve which can allow her to squeeze right through her dream man's life. Stark will be instrumental in making her plans come to fruition.
Days Of Our Lives will keep viewers engaged as Diana will reveal that Leo is her son with Drake. Without a doubt, this will be a huge revelation. It will be devastating for Marlena. More than anything, this will drive the relationship of Evans and Hogestyn into perdition.
However, when all is seemingly lost, there is one approach that needs to be done to keep matters under control. There is no evidence that supports Diana's revelation, at least, not yet. It will just be her word that reinforces her claims when she talked to Drake about it.
The key to all these complications will probably be in the hands of Leo. Apparently, the son has a conversation with Cooper beforehand. Whatever that is will likely repel Diana's motives in wanting Drake for herself.
Also up ahead on the popular family drama, Kristian Alfonso's Hope Brady wants to straighten things out with Robert Scott Wilson's Ben Weston. This is another love triangle to watch as the former gets the better of himself by ending his relationship with Victoria Konefal's Ciara Brady.
Meanwhile, Days Of Our Lives also brings Melissa Brennan in a tension-filled debate. As Jennifer Horton, she gears up for the mayoralty tussle between James Reynolds's Abe Carver and Laura Kai Chen's Melinda Trask. Horton is likely up for the job as she tones down the mounting heat.
