A familiar face will be back on Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 19. Scheduled to air on Friday, March 15, at 9:00 p.m. on CBS, the team will investigate the case of a murdered window washer.
According to the episode synopsis, the Five-O team will figure out, however, that the window washer's real identity was a street artist. The team will learn that he had a bounty on his head thus resulting in his death.
In the course of their investigation in Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 19, the team will tap the help of Gerard Hirsch (played by Willie Garson), who first appeared on Hawaii Five-0 season 5. He has helped out the Steve (played by Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (played by Scott Caan) a few times in the past, especially with special cases involving art or an artist so it makes sense to have him back in this episode.
But aside from Hirsch, Junior's father, Natano Reigns (played by Eric Scanlan), will also be in Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 19. They will deal with a family issue that will bring back painful memories of the death of Junior's sister.
Before this episode airs, however, Hawaii Five-0 season 9 will welcome Dame Joan Collins in episode 18, which airs on March 8. Collins will guest star as Danny's former mother-in-law, the renowned romance writer Amanda Savage.
While Danny doesn't get along with Amanda and will have a hard time during her brief visit, Steve will charm Danny's ex-mom-in-law. The said episode will also feature recurring cast member Shawn Mokuahi Garnett (Flippa).
Meanwhile, viewers following Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix may be wondering why the show is no longer available on the streaming platform. Since 2015, subscribers to Netflix could watch all available seasons of the series except the current episodes airing on television.
Subscribers were supposed to get the complete episodes of Hawaii Five-0 season 9 by summer. But according to What's On Netflix, the service removed Hawaii Five-0 from its line-up effective Feb. 24.
The streaming platform's license to run the show reportedly recently expired and it's still unclear if it will be renewed with CBS. As it stands, however, CBS is also beefing up its line-up on its streaming platform, CBS All Access, so Hawaii Five-0 could become exclusive to this platform.
