Task Force X may have to go on another mission without one of their better troopers. Deadshot will probably be out of the Suicide Squad2  lineup as the team of super villains will have their hands full in its upcoming sequel.

Actor Will Smith will not be rejoining the Suicide Squad 2 film. Although no official word of his status on the movie has been announced, the likelihood of The Pursuit of Happyness star being unable to be on the cast is very high due to conflicting priorities.

With Smith out, Warner Bros will have to contend with a team minus a major Hollywood figure. The absence of a heavyweight star can be quite impactful especially for a flick that made around $747 million during its first run. Although raking in that number has not guaranteed the movie to be a significant hit, a follow-up story might. With Smith out, there will be a huge void to fill.

It has been reported that the main reason why the Deadshot actor cannot reprise his role for Suicide squad 2 is the problems associated with scheduling. It is possible that Smith is currently filming the third installment of the Bad Boys franchise which is entitled Bad Boys For Life.

The 50-year old thespian's forthcoming film with Martin Lawrence is slated to come out in 2020. Managing the scenes and sequences will be Adil El-Arbi and Bilall Fall. Bad Boys For Life will bring the two cops together in order to take down a mercenary in Miami.

Sources reveal that not being on board for the sequel has not changed anything between Smith and the production outfit. Warner Bros and Director James Gunn have cordially settled the issue with the star. The man behind the camera has been famously associated with the Guardians of the Galaxy before Disney decided to let him go.

Filming is due to begin in September this year. Suicide Squad 2 is looking towards a release in August 2021. Although dates for shooting and premiere release have already been floated around, there is still no word on who will be returning for the installment.

However, it is highly expected that actress Margot Robbie will be back. The 28-year old Terminal star will be reprising her role as Harley Quinn who is the Joker's love interest. It is likely that Jared Leto will also rejoin the cast.

Aside from the considerably high earnings, Suicide Squad 2 will have to live up to the film's primary presentation which snared an Oscar for Makeup and Hairstyling
