Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry was brought in a hospital in Los Angeles after experiencing a massive stroke while in his home in Sherman Oaks California. Coy Luther "Luke" Perry III or popularly known as Luke Perry who played the brooding millionaire's son Dylan McKay on the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 to 1995, and again from 1998 to 2000. Now he portrays Fred Andrews on the CW series Riverdale. The popular teen idol of the '90s was rushed to the hospital on Feb 27, Wednesday morning and is now under observation as per his publicist.

In a report based on the notes of the Los Angeles Fire Department at around 9:30 am, Wednesday, on which they got a call from a registered number under the 52-year old actor's address. The distress call was for an "unspecified medical request," later on, it was verified that one person was taken to a nearby hospital. Luke Perry was also hospitalized the same day that Fox television announced it was reviving Beverly Hills, 90210 with many of the original cast, including Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, Jennie Garth, and Tori Spelling. Sadly, Perry was not among those announced as returning for the limited run of the popular teen drama's six new episodes this summer.

During this difficult time, Luke Perry has been receiving overwhelming care and support from his co-stars as they wished him well and hoped for his speedy recovery. Among them was Lili Reinhart who posted a picture of her and Luke Perry in her social media account and captioned it with "Thinking of you, Luke. And praying for your safe recovery." While Cole Sprouse did the same but shared a candid photo of Luke Perry wearing a broad smile as he seems to be looking afar, and Skeet Ulrich asking for Perry to grill for him when he gets better.

"Beverly Hills, 90210" ran for 10 years starting in 1990 and was one of the most popular shows on U.S. television. However, on its, the 2008 revival of the series, only Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, and Tori Spelling reprised their roles. Luke Perry's former co-stars have also expressed their support on social media. "My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength. You got this," Shannen Doherty posted on Instagram, while Ian Ziering wrote, "Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery." Luke Perry has been reportedly "sedated" until now.
