Borderlands 3 may be right around the corner, or at least, some updates on the action role-playing video game could be. It is anticipated that the upcoming PAX East event later this month will offer some answers, especially on how far the game has gone in terms of development, what Borderlands fans can expect from the upcoming iteration of the video game, and when it may finally be out.
Game creator Gearbox Software will be showing up at the Main Theater of PAX East March 28 at 2 to 3 p.m. with the promise of "behind-the-scenes" and latest reveals which have not been made public before.
Topmost on every fan's head would be the much-awaited announcement of the coming out of Borderlands 3 because it ought to be something significant if Gearbox is showing up at the main theater on the first day of PAX East.
It was confirmed at the 2016 PAX East that video game developer Gearbox would be coming up with the third installment of Borderlands. However, it was not indicated how long it would take to do that.
Although there is a lot of hope, nothing is confirmed, and as to whether the video game will be coming out at this year's PAX East convention, it is mostly just speculation. The expectation of a glimpse of what's to come with Borderlands 3 may be more realistic, rather than its coming out.
Again, without official confirmation, it is hard to say, but the timing is logical when considering that, in 2016, there was a new Borderlands undertaking that went into production. If speculations are to be believed, the least that could be expected is a teaser on the possibly near-launch Borderlands 3.
Unofficially though, based on a Take-Two earnings call, the game's publisher, the newest addition to the game title Borderlands could be out in the fall season of this year.
It has been a while since Borderlands: The Handsome Collection in 2015, or even the first-release Borderlands in 2009, followers of the game title believed it would be out in time for the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018. But it was announced by Gearbox in May that year that it was not going to be out then.
Whenever it may come out for release, it is already a sure thing that Borderlands 3 is coming. And considering it has been a while since the followers of the game title saw the last iteration, after so much time, the much anticipated Borderlands 3 could prove to be something vastly different and highly interesting.
PAX East is all set for March 28 to 31 at the Boston, MA.
