Rumors and speculations as well as betting odds are going high on the possibility that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her husband, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge are having baby number four. Though nothing official has been announced, a buzz seems to be surrounding the couple as to whether these rumors are true.
With the Duke's brother, Prince Harry, expecting a first baby with his wife, actress Meghan Markle, anytime now (very recent news indicate the baby may come early), it seems that fans and admirers of the Duke and Duchess are also looking to them for another addition, because, well, it seems, babies are contagious, and a royal baby bug may be hovering around the Cambridge royals!
It could all be wishful thinking, after all, expecting a baby in the royal circle is always sensational news, but, looking for clues, there seem to be none that point to the near possibility as the Duchess, Kate, has been up and about, pretty active of late.
As her fans all know, Middleton has this tendency to feel poorly when pregnant, as per her three pregnancies when she was diagnosed to have hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition characterized by frequent vomiting and a general sense of malaise.
The Duchess went through it all three times she was pregnant---with Prince George, who is now 5 years old, Princess Charlotte, now aged 3, and of course the newest addition, the baby in the family, Prince Louis, who is only 10 months.
As a testament to her robust non-pregnant health, she and the Duke have been traveling and spending some time in Northern Ireland earlier in the week. The royal couple made the rounds of their charities, chatted with some fans, even spent some time playing sports with school children.
It was on the second day of the aforementioned trip when Duchess Kate was mingling with some fans and shaking hands when she was said to have remarked over a baby named James, who was just 5 months old.
She complimented the boy, saying he was very "gorgeous" and "sweet," but that he made her "feel broody." The boy's father, Alan Barr, then quickly asked whether the Duchess was having another one with the Duke.
To this, Middleton gave a laugh and replied that her husband, William, might be "a little worried" if that were so.
During this trip, the royal couple also spent time with school children at the Windsor Park football stadium, playing and interacting with them. At one point the Duchess is said to have shared what her young son's, Prince George's, opinion is of her football prowess, which was according to the boy, "rubbish."
The Duke and Duchess had a bit of a walkaround in the town park of Ballymena, met up with the Chief Constable as well as the police force, and visited Cinemagic, one of their charities.
So, while nothing was forthcoming from the couple regarding speculations or plans of another addition to their brood in the near future, it does not follow that the couple will no longer have more children. There are also those who believe that they---or at least the Duchess---may be hesitant considering the condition she finds herself in whenever she gets pregnant.
Then again, despite her age, at 35 years old, she could very well have another baby with Prince William. Probably, just not now. After all, she only just gave birth some months ago.
