According to these claims, the engagement proposal was a romantic way for Ben Affleck to step-up his game after the two have split seven months ago. While this is great news for the couple and fans, there are no truths in these claims as per Gossip Cop. Again, the outlet busted these claims when they had the chance to talk to one of Ben Affleck's representatives. And in reference to the rep's response about the matter, Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are not engaged. And as it happens, the two are not yet even there.
Aside from the credible representative who confirmed the engagement rumors as false claims, Gossip Cop also explained why the rumor is quite unbelievable.
