The Order is a new American web television series that will be available on Netflix for streaming come March 7 of this year. And with its official trailer that has been released a few weeks ago, it appears that the series will involve witchcraft and supernatural powers. Hence, the catchphrase - "All magic has cost."

This catchphrase is one of the most stunning lines in the trailer. Also, this is one of the many reasons why a lot of people concluded that this series would feature a dark theme. Additionally, Popsugar takes this film as a new addition to Netflix's line of spooky teen shows such as Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale. And following the success of these web series, it is likely for The Order to obtain the same audience as well.

The main theme of The Order revolves around revenge and retribution of a son who lost his mother. And it commences with a freshman college student, Jack Morton, who pledges in a secret organization inside the Belgrave University.

This organization is called the Hermetic Order of The Blue Rose or also known as The Order. Within the Order, Jack digs into a world filled with magic, witchcraft, and dark arts. But as Jack gets deeper in it, he will learn that several dark revelations and confessions await him. And based on the trailer, it seemingly appears that the first season will end in an epic and tragic way.

The regular cast of the upcoming web series includes Jake Manley who will play the role of Jack Morton, Once Upon A Time actress, Sarah Grey, CBS' The Unit star, Max Martini; Matt Frewer, and Sam Trammel. As for the recurring ones, these include Katherine Isabelle, Hiro Kanagawa, Ty Wood, and Louriza Tronco.

Now, the first season of The Order will have ten episodes. Each episode will be an hour long which is usually the average up to maximum running time of one episode of a Netflix Original series. Also, once the series has become available for streaming, all of the ten episodes will be accessible as well. And since this series is a Netflix Original, it will not be available for other streaming services like Amazon Prime, Sky, and Hulu.

The production started in 2018 when Netflix ordered the first season of the show. It was created by Dennis Heaton and Shelley Eriksen who also served as the writers and producers of The Order.
