Former Wanna One Ha Sung Woon has been on headlines following dating rumors with Kang Daniel, his former groupmate. Apparently, the Korean pop singer shuts down all doubts in an explanation and video message for the latter, proving his masculinity once and for all.

In a report from Allkpop, the singer was featured on "Weekly Idol's" March 6th installment to promote his solo debut song titled "Bird." During the show, he was questioned by Nam Chang Hee about his supposed dating with Kang Daniel. "Are you two dating," the show's host asked.

Ha Sung Woon could not help but laugh, saying that he could not blame the people. He said that he searched online and found pictures of him being carried by his former groupmate. And, according to him, fans saw the same pictures. The former Wanna One member added that Kang Daniel is bigger than him; hence, the latter tends to carry him a lot.

He then decided to send a message to his former groupmate, saying that they both now have dating rumors. But despite what people are saying, he said that there is nothing to worry about it. From there, he wished him nothing but good health. The singer further hoped for Kang Daniel to succeed in his career and have the passion to do whatever he wants.

Sung Woon admitted that it was not the first time he heard about the rumors, not to mention the pictures. After all, he looked into the controversy way before it grew big. He said, however, that he did not think about it because there was nothing to hide. He and Daniel are friends.

Korea Portal reports that Sung Woon believes the rumors bloomed when fans started seeing him and Daniel together. And the fact that the latter loves to carry or hug him, it only gave fans the wrong impression.

Ha Sung Woon said that Kang Daniel is facing some challenges lately. For starters, he was having difficulty with his agency, LM Entertainment. According to the heartthrob singer, he tried sending a handful of requests to his agency, seeking access on his social media account. But despite his efforts, LM continues to decline his requests.

The agency, on the other hand, denied and said that it was just a misunderstanding. LM claimed that the Korean signer wanted to modify some clauses on his contract. And contrary to popular belief, the two parties are in talks right now.
