Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) will prove he is the master manipulator on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10, titled "The Cryptobanker." Although he will appear in court, the criminal mastermind will come with a strategy to ensure his safety. But, he still seems planning to escape.
"The task force delves into the unregulated world of cryptocurrency to stop an impending attack," The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10 official synopsis read. "Red undertakes a risky endeavor to secure his freedom."
Red is about to change his mind on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10 as he decides not to let the task force testify on his behalf. His trial for treason is ongoing, but the judge will deny the plea that forces him to make a bold decision.
In The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10 trailer, Red reveals he will "plead guilty on all counts," but in one condition. He tells the judge that he will only do it if AUSA Michael Sima (Ken Leung) agrees that he "was mistaken about the existence of the immunity agreement."
Stunned at Red's proposal, Sima asks him if he wants him to lie in court on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10. "Yes, it plays to your strengths," Red says.
The judge accepts Red's plea, which means he will forfeit his right to appeal his "conviction and sentence." The judge then warns him that the penalty for a person who is guilty of the crimes he is charged with is death by lethal injection. Asking if he is aware of that, Red answers positively, adding he understands that the guilty plea is supported by facts and he is "acting competently and voluntarily" in giving up his rights. I'm prepared to accept it. Are you sure that you want me to?" he retorts.
In an interview with creator and showrunner Jon Bokenkamp, he teases that The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10 is a "turning point in the series." "This week's episode is a heist, disguised as a legal drama, and it's going to box Reddington into a corner unlike any we've seen in the life of our show," he says, per Entertainment Tonight.
Meanwhile, TV.com reported Red would get the help of Vontea (Coy Stewart) and Vega (Javier Molina) to aid his escape on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10. He gives them a weird shopping list composed of ground chuck, bleach, paint or nail polish remover, rubber cement, and hair clippings from the prison barbershop.
Bokenkamp tells TV Guide, via TV.com, it is a list of "eclectic grocery items." Although he doesn't reveal what Red is up to on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 10, he advises fans to see how big the upcoming episode is and what Red has up his sleeve on Friday, March 8, on NBC.
