Two of 2NE1's former members will have a mini-reunion as Park Bom and Sandara Park will work on the initial's comeback song, "Spring." With the collaboration, fans have high hopes that they will once again see the two back on the same stage, but YG Entertainment reveals it will not be the case.

"Dara did feature in her new song," YG Entertainment said in a statement about Sandara Park and Park Bom's possible on stage performance together, via AllKpop. "But there are no plans for her to join Park Bom for her comeback stage."

Earlier, YG Entertainment confirmed Sandara Park would have very special participation on Park Bom's new single, "Spring." According to HelloKpop, the Cheese in the Trap star even cried when she hears their song. As expected, 2NE1 fans celebrate the two's collaboration as it will be the first time that the former bandmates work on a new tune together after the group's last single, "Goodbye."

And although Park Bom is now working with D-Nation and no longer with YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk showed his support on her return. "Although she is no longer with YG, I really wish her all success with her new release," he said in a post on Instagram.

Park Bom will be releasing her comeback single since 2011's "Don't Cry," featuring Sandara Park. Titled "Spring," it will be the preview of her new album with the same name, per Billboard.

D-Nation already dropped the first teaser for "Spring" filled with a lot of flowers. Park Bom could be seen in the middle of the floras and industrial places while her voice could be heard singing the song's titular verse in the background.

Park Bom, which also means spring in Korean, returns with her "seasonally-inspired" music after being away from the music scene. To recall, her career was put on hold after she got involved in a legal situation in 2014 for allegedly trying to smuggle medically-prescribed medicines from the United States to South Korea. The drugs in question were amphetamine pills prescribed to treat attention deficit disorder (ADD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which were illegal in the country but legal in the U.S.

Since then, Park Bom parted ways with YG Entertainment and signed to D-Nation in July 2018. Bom would be once again seen on stage as she is set to perform "Spring" for the first time on M! Countdown on March 14.
