The rumored Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez destination wedding that J. Lo is said to be planning is not happening.
A report has come out on this supposed wedding between the singer and her beau which is said to be happening in Mexico on the occasion of the World of Dance judge's 50th birthday in July. The star is, again purportedly, "picking out napkins already" because she sees nothing wrong with making early preparations.
The piece even goes on to point out that J. Lo loves the limelight so much that this purely mythical wedding has to be picture perfect with lots of "extravagant personal touches."
Here's how the made-up fairytale wedding was debunked.
Gossip Cop looked into the matter and got in touch with Rodriguez's representative to verify the veracity of the story put forth by the tabloid. Gossip Cop was able to confirm that the report is purely fiction and totally unfounded.
A-Rod's representative has declared that no such thing is happening as per the questionable publication's claims. There is no Mexico summer wedding being planned at all.
For further confirmation, Lopez's camp was also contacted to shed some more light on the matter. It turns out that the "On The Floor" artist's calendar is full on her birthday month as she will be on a concert tour for her It's My Party: The Live Celebration.
This means that the concert diva will be celebrating her birthday while on the road. The idea of her having that huge wedding in Mexico is totally debunked.
Besides, there seems to be no hurry to tie the knot. The two lovebirds, Lopez and Rodriguez, have been together two years but have no plans as yet to say their I do's. The songbird has since pointed out when she guested on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" in February that, although the couple are "very happy" together, she said does not know if she's getting engaged to him soon.
The totally false report which the tabloid had published regarding the made-up Mexico wedding between Lopez and Rodriguez is not the first report on a purported wedding for the couple. The first one was also pure fiction and picked the Hampton's as the wedding venue.
Fans can see for themselves come June and July when the concert diva is set to have her 24-city North American tour whether there are any chances of that purported Mexico destination wedding happening in between concerts.
