Gossip Cop has once again caught on with another entertainment news publication that has sought to kindle interest by perpetuating false news. This time, the targets are actors Affleck and Garner, formerly husband and wife and now divorced.

The two actors, the bogus story goes, were said to have caught up with each other at a common friend's wedding in Los Angeles the previous month and reportedly felt sparks fly between them.

The report purports that Garner had been carried away with what seemed to be a lot of progress that Affleck has made since he came out of the rehabilitation center in October. So much that it seemed he could have asked her anything and she would have said yes.

At the purported wedding party, Affleck was said to have led Garner down the garden path and popped the question to have the latter marry him again! This is where it gets interesting, as a supposed insider was said to have told this aforementioned shady outlet the story Garner had shared of how Affleck popped the question this fictional second time around.

Allegedly, the exes were having such a good time together that it spurred Affleck into asking the actress the big question. The informer goes on to claim that Garner had been very surprised at the unexpected question that she had not initially believed him, thinking it was a joke. Affleck was said to have told her that it was no joke at all.

This story becomes even more ludicrous when the publication goes a step further saying that Garner seems to be going over the proposal and that she would be making some demands of Affleck if they were remarried. These included staying clean of alcohol and pursuing continued therapy.

The fictional insider goes on weaving the story that Affleck really wanted to stay married this time around, saying that the two truly love each other, no one would question either of them if they gave marriage another shot.

The sham of a story would have most likely ended with "and they lived happily ever after" had it not been for obvious reasons that it was recently revealed that Affleck has gotten back with another ex, one-time girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. This totally debunked the lies published by the outlet.

As for the real score, Affleck and Shookus were spotted around New York City in the past week, showing that the whole Garner-Affleck reunion was a total sham.

Affleck and Shookus were seen attending the movie premiere for his Netflix movie, the Triple Frontier.

Garner is also presently dating John Miller who is the chief executive at the Cali Group; this has been going on since the previous year. The couple are said to be serious about their relationship

Affleck and Garner have remained co-parents to their three children. There was no veracity to the news they were getting married again.
