Lady Gaga isn't having a "harder time letting go" of her character in A Star Is Born than her co-star Bradley Cooper, despite the claim of several outlets. This report has been debunked and corrected and was confirmed to be a completely fabricated claim. The rep of the singer said the report is 100 percent wrong.

In an article about Gaga and Cooper published by Us Weekly, the outlet cited an alleged source claiming the singer/actress has become "extremely dramatic" and had difficulty in shutting on and off her character in A Star Is Born. The site maintained the actor has already moved on and no longer putting the act about them being lovers, yet Gaga is allegedly having a "harder time letting go."

That claim, however, was enough for some magazines to publish a similar story about Gaga being "dramatic." But as per Gossip Cop, these tabloids did not have proof to support their report and didn't even fact-checked if the claim of the so-called source is indeed reliable. Gaga's rep confirmed to Gossip Cop that stories about her having a harder time letting go weren't true at all. The "source" cited by Us Weekly is likely non-existent as well. The rep further added the reports were only the results of "active imaginations."

Also, during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live after winning an Oscars award, Gaga told the talk show host that people on social media had been consistently questioning her relationship with Cooper as if they were "in love." The singer explained people saw love because that's what they wanted to see. While she and her co-star appeared to be in love in A Star Is Born, Gaga said she's an artist and glad she did a good job for making people believe as if they were in love.

Hence, the claim about Gaga having a harder time letting go of her character isn't true at all. And if ever she couldn't shut it "on and off," the singer would have been gushing about her being so "in love" with Cooper rather than saying it was all an act. Cleary, the actress was just portraying her role very well, so many assumed she couldn't let go of her character in the movie. Additionally, the relationship of the two is purely platonic, and they're happy with their respective relationships. But as for them being in love, it was just all an act.
