Pokemon Go maker rocks the AR mobile game world once again as they unleash Harry Potter: Wizards Unite
Niantic teamed up with WB Games, a video game production arm owned by Warner Bros and unveiled their surprise for Harry Potter followers this year. The Pokemon Go creator confirmed the release of the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite expected to be up for grab before 2019 ends.
Niantic is expected to use the same AR technology they used for Pokemon Go giving their players the same amount of gaming experience excitement. The company in return looks at Harry Potter: Wizards Unite as their next licensed game expected to follow if not measure up to the phenomenon that Pokemon Go created.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite lets the players enter the world of magic wherein they play the role of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force newly recruited members. The task force was established by the Ministry of Magic and the International Confederation of Wizards for the purpose of investigating and containing the calamity that has taken place in the wizarding world.
In their quest to solve the calamity mystery, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players must find "Foundables" to keep them away from Muggle eyes, the non-magical humans. "Foundables" are creatures, artifacts, wizards and memories disguised behind libraries, municipal buildings, banks, college campuses, parks and more. Finding them earn the players various rewards.
Harry Potter: Wizard Unite players may also earn more magic that they can cast when needed along the journey by looking for areas that will replenish their energy. Certain areas along the game convert into Inns when discovered and add up to the players' spell energy.
Hardcore gamers looking for high-level rewards may take the challenge of facing Death Eaters and Dementors. Such challenges will require them to team up in real-time multiplayer battles with other Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players. Competing with such Wizarding Challenges found in Fortresses can help the player test their spell mastery.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite offers the gamers a wide variety of magical discipline by making customization available. Aurors, Magizoologists, and Professors are just some of the professions they can choose from. Each profession showcases different abilities as well as various benefits along with unique magical disciplines.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite which promises an AR version of the Harry Potter world experience such as venturing into the Ollivander's Wand Shop still has no specific date of release. The AR game launch iOS and Android mobile devices, however, are expected later this year.
