A renewed allegation regarding Sandra Bullock getting married to her boyfriend, Bryan Randall, showed its head once more, a year into initial claims of the two tying the knot, with the same tabloid belying the report. This insistence sparked a rebuff from a watchful publication that had sought comment on record from a source close to the actress, who, in turn, denied any such event happened.

It was reported that Bullock supposedly got married a year ago to the international photographer and that was purely inaccurate, but to presently make renewed claims of the same a year after is an outright fabrication.

On both instances, tabloid police Gossip Cop caught on to these invalid assertions made by the disreputable tabloid and shut those down, citing Bullock's representative who confirmed there was no wedding of the sort.

The 55-year old actress was said to have gotten married to her long-standing beau and supposedly keeping it under wraps until she was "good and ready" to make the revelation. Since it is widely known that the actress is fiercely private of her personal details, this may have been a calculated move to sell the story until some proof was found to back up claims or before being busted for the untruth by those in the know.

The basis given for the wild claim was a snapshot of Randall wearing what the published story purported to be a wedding ring. That alone had been the flimsy excuse to make the assumption of matrimony between the long-time couple.

The rumor-mongering tabloid may have expected to get away twice with such false reporting since it had used the line "friends of the fiercely private actress" to throw off the unsuspecting reader, or perhaps, as suggested by the rumor cop, to buy time to sell the story without tipping off the audience.

The Miss Congeniality star's popularity and fan base are such that word on her personal life or her professional pursuits has always captivated public attention. This may be why another story, akin to this one presented herein, also sold on another slick outlet---in fact, a sister publication to the one referred to above.

This related story expanded on the rumor of the supposed wedding between the Gravity starrer and her photographer sweetheart, saying not only that the secret wedding took place, but also that the former's two children, Laila and Louis, were in attendance at the private affair which, it claimed, involved "no fanfare" at all.

The familiar go-to defense against questions of story authenticity, the anonymous "source," was again pegged to give the story some form of reliability.

While this approach to fiction and fantasy may present a wonderful fairy tale to readers, it does not necessarily make the story the truth, which is what news reporting is all about.

It is worth noting that the couple, who have been together since mid-2015, is particularly known for being the type to "do a small wedding" and not feel the need to tell anyone if they ever decide to tie the knot.

The sweethearts have been living together since 2016 with Bullock's aforementioned adoptive children. The award-winning actress has been divorced from her former husband, Jesse James, since 2010. On the other hand, the former fashion model and photographer has stayed single but is a father to his grown daughter Skylar and is now the paternal figure as well to Bullock's children.
