Amanda Seyfried's fans totally support her, as they have shown recently when her bold and private pictures came out on the Internet. Even when much older NSWF snapshots of the Mean Girls star have made their rounds for yet another time, her defenders have come out to ask others to "leave" Seyfried "alone."
It is refreshing to find many like-minded people have echoed supporters for stars like Seyfried who get their private moments pasted all over the Internet without their permission and the sentiment it seems.
One of the tweets on social media expressed that what was good about the Seyfried "situation" is the amount of support the 33-year old Mamma Mia! actress is getting instead of being slut-shamed. Other fans have been disgusted by the leaking of her photographs, criticizing the gross disrespect of her privacy, especially considering Seyfried "loved him."
Many have acted on the issue by refraining from sharing the photos and asking others to do the same, pointing out the pictures were not for public consumption and that the most suitable approach was to avoid spreading those images to even more people.
Another tweeter reasoned that people should keep in mind that the circulating photos of the model were not intended for a public audience and thus, for privacy's sake, people should think twice about sharing those.
This fan pointed out "celebrities" are "people" just like everyone else. The outpouring of support for the Veronica Mars television star just kept growing.
Then there are those who just feel very strongly about the issue and have fiercely reacted to the spread of Seyfried's explicit photographs online, calling out "revenge porn" as being "mean" and "ignorant."
Another comment expressed that no one "deserves" their "sex life" being mocked, especially when the said photographs had been splashed all over the Internet without consent.
And yet another fan asked that "any account" which would post or share Seyfried's explicit images be reported.
Some years back, the pictures being referred to on social media, a few of which were with the actor Justin Long (who she had seen around that time) were stolen from the actress' phone and released publicly without her knowledge or consent. After these images had finally been forgotten, these have recently come out again.
The singer-songwriter is presently married to Thomas Sadowski, 42, of HBO's The Newsroom. Neither has offered any comment as yet regarding this recurring issue of invasion of privacy or about the unprecedented support the actress is receiving amidst this renewed circulation of her images.
