After a long hiatus, Riverdale season 3 episode 18 is finally back and there are a lot of happenings in the episode, titled "Jawbreaker." Here's what all happened in the recently aired episode.
Riverdale season 3 episode 18 returns on the CW on Wednesday, April 17. The episode is all about the Gargoyle King, revelations, and fighting. Jughead and FP are still working together to find out who's responsible in selling tainted Fizzle Rocks, and they think Kurtz might be selling these bad batch of drugs.
The Fizzle Rocks were so dangerous that it makes people foam at the mouth and ram their heads into lockers. They spent most of their times to find Kurtz, good thing they eventually found him. He was arrested outside of Archie's fight, but while FP and Jughead spent so much time searching for Kurtz, they were not paying attention to Jellybean.
Riverdale season 3 episode 18 shows that Jellybean is on her own, which leads to Kurtz - and other kids who stabbed Archie - completing the ultimate quest: which is to save the Princess. At the end of the episode, it was shown she's coming face-to-skull with the Gargoyle King. So what will happen to Jughead's sister in the next episode?
On the other side of Riverdale season 3 episode 18, Betty learns Edgar's back story and his reason for opening the farm. He said his old life was terrible and he walked out of the desert, wanting to die. But before he could even do that, Edgar said he found a farm and the farmer nursed him back to life.
He spent his times on that farm, saying he felt reborn, and he decided to open up his own farm someday to help the "lost souls." However, Betty didn't really get the answer she wanted to her: which is how Alice can see her dead son. She came up with a new plan, she took her mother to a fake grave to let her know that Charles is already dead. But then, her plan doesn't work either, so she ended up handcuffing Alice to the bed in Dilton's bunker.
Betty also listens to the tapes from Alice's session with Edgar, where she hears her mother saying how scared she is of her and she feels her daughter has her father's darkness. Upset with what she heard, Betty confronted Edgar but he said they were all Alice's words. So, she hands her mother back to the farm and asked her father Hal to sign the divorce papers.
Another big event in Riverdale season 3 episode 18 is the boxing tournament of Archie, which is actually Elio's tournament but he decided to join to honor Baby Teeth. Veronica helps him to be the tournament and he gets a rematch against Randy Ronson.
Archie wins, but then, Randy was foaming at the mouth while the fight is on-going. Perhaps, the bad news is that Archie's opponent didn't get up after he knocked him out. Although that's probably the fault of the drugs, Archie might be in a bad situation once again.
