Recording artist Taylor Swift turns on the intrigue once more, and her fans are racing to work out the clues she's been offering. Whatever she's dropping on April 26, it has not been fully discovered, but everyone seems to have a theory about it.

The "Blank Space" artist teased the countdown on April 13 to the aforementioned date, but gives no clear indication of what it is about. Many have assumed it to be a new album for 2019, her seventh if it were truly the case.

Only, no one seems to have an idea what it is going to be about, if there is a theme going on or a story in the midst of it. It could very well be a single, perhaps a music video.

Nothing short of an announcement will reveal the answer, although fans sure are trying to solve the puzzle before the big day. It has something to do with the color pink, and sequins and hearts.

Swift started teasing the event in February when she posted a photo of herself on her social media account, as if to heighten interest in her Elle cover which she unveiled at the same time as writing an essay of her music.

Then she pointed to the huge event on her website when she started her countdown leading up to the date revealed. Since then, she has given her fans on social media a daily dose of her colorful pastel palette with every post, which is always tagged with "4.26."

This included even a photo of her cats and her recent Time cover for "100 Most Influential People," where she sported a light blue dress, still in keeping with her recent hues.

To seek out the answer, fans have taken to trolling Spotify and looking through Swift's biggest hits from earlier albums. It seemed their hard work was rewarded when it was noticed that the singer seems to be promoting her new single and putting a brand new background to her songs.

All except for "Story of Us" on her Speak Now album. What is more is that the song plays to a total of four minutes and 26 seconds, "4.26."

Now fans are really hoping all the clues are pointing to her "TS7," or the single on her seventh album.

Another theory as to what the big reveal is all about is that Swift may be doing a collaboration with Katy Perry, a pretty wild and far-off one which has nothing to back it up, except the two were seen at the red carpet event of iHeartRadio.

Plus, Perry was asked whether it were true, to which she replied that she was "Open." The two big music artists working together would spell something really huge, but this remains to be seen. It was rumored though that they are working with the producer Ryan Tedder.

The only tie-in so far evident on the three on social media is the fact that they have all posted palm trees on their profiles, Perry first, then Tedder, and yes, Swift. Incidentally, Swift's post contained seven palm trees, and the singer seemed to underline this fact by adding seven palm tree emojis to her caption.

Some fans have even gone as far as to suggest that the placement of the trees on Swift's photo posting have a particular significance.

On the left side are four of these and could represent her four albums on country music (Speak Now, Taylor Swift, Fearless, Red). The two on the opposite side are said to be the singer's pop-leaning albums, 1989 and Reputation. The last tree in front and somewhere between the two clusters is said to be TS7.

The arrangement is interpreted as the possibility the new album---rather, its representation, sits between the two different styles of Swift's music---could be a bit of both. It could even be a totally new Taylor Swift style of music.
