Blue Bloods season 9 episode 20 is due this week, and it would feature yet again another Frank Raegan story. Based on the promo of the upcoming episode, viewers can expect a story that revolves around a cop killer who gets parole.
As seen in the teaser of Blue Bloods season 9 episode 20, Frank makes it very clear that cop killers should die in prison - at least in his mind. Therefore, he will do everything within his power just to make sure that the cop killer would not end up being released. Viewers know that Tom Selleck's character takes on his fair share of legal battles, and this one is not an exception.
Frank knows there are several reasons why the cop killer is getting out of prison and why it is bad for him. For instance, there is an idea of him where he could kill a cop again. But then, it is also possible viewers will see another component here - optics. The cop killer getting out on parole is like a message to police officers, and it's not a good one.
For Frank, what he needs to do is to stand tall and make a big statement. Also, he needs to show that there are some people being tolerated and the NYPD should do whatever they can just to avoid them from getting out and, of course, many people are counting on him.
In another part of Blue Bloods season 9 episode 20, viewers will also see Frank going toe-to-toe with his daughter Erin over new things she's trying to push through - which is the result of certain negotiations she's done with the Governor.
The two already going at it ever since Erin got her promotion, and it seems like she's the one who made the biggest adjustment. She realized that her father would not treat her as his daughter within his job. And even though he's not that harsh on her, Erin still needs to prepare for battles with Frank accordingly.
Meanwhile, there's good news of Jamie-Eddie fans; their wedding will be shown in Blue Bloods season 9 finale. People Magazine reported there are a lot of things to expect in this particular episode. Some recently released photos show that Frank has a big role in the wedding, while Danny would also take part in a reading during the ceremony.
