SEAL Team season 2 is set to end its run in four more episodes beginning Wednesday, April 24. However, star David Boreanz (as Jason Hayes) hints that there will be more conflict for his character who is already struggling as it is.

Boreanz recently spoke with TV Insider to discuss the SEAL Team season 2 finale. The actor said that his character has indeed been grappling with both personal and professional issues and it may worsen in the end.

"By the end of the season finale, we will get some answers, but they won't [be resolved]. They'll really be opening up more conflict for Jason," Boreanz said.

Chief of Jason's problems is the conflict between him and Ray (played by Neil Brown, Jr). The actors hinted that this would reach a breaking point in SEAL Team season 2 episode 21, which airs on May 8. Incidentally, Boreanz directed this episode that will highlight the growing split of the Bravo Teams.

As for Clay (played by Max Thieriot), the character will be at home recovering and getting his much-needed rehabilitation for the rest of the remaining episodes of SEAL Team season 2. Apart from his physical struggles, the character will also have to deal with the emotional struggles due to his post-traumatic stress.

Boreanz also said that SEAL Team season 2 would have answers for the storyline of Brett Swann (played by Tony Curran) in the finale. The character, however, will be a central figure in episode 19, which airs on April 24, as per the episode synopsis. As Bravo Team goes on a mission in Mali, Swann will be dealing with his mental health issues.

Meanwhile, SEAL Team season 2 finally introduced Kristy Swanson's character, Julia Logan, in the episode that aired last April 17. She played the therapist who needed to talk to the team members who experienced the surprise bomb attack in the Philippines.

Julia is being set up as the new love interest for Jason's character, and Swanson will be on the show until the SEAL Team season 2 finale. It's still unclear, however, if the actress will be signed on for season 3.

CBS, however, has yet to confirm if the show is coming back next season. The series averages between three to four million viewers a week and was down in the ratings for the second season compared to the first, as per TV Series Finale
