According to the episode synopsis, the bombing will take place in a military museum where there is an ongoing event with at least 1,000 people in the crowd. Will NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 22 reveal that Apollyon may have a hand in the bombing? Or is this incident a separate and completely unconnected case? Viewers may recall that the Apollyon has been a season-long story arc and it will be the central story in the two-part season finale airing the following week.
In the meantime, Pride (played by Scott Bacula) learned some new intel from the husband of Hannah (played by Necar Zadegan). Ryan (played by Hal Ozsan) was able to obtain more information about Apollyon in NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 21.
The episode, which aired last Tuesday, April 23, also revealed that Ryan is working as a spy again, but he has initially kept this a secret from Hannah. However, Pride had to let Hannah know the real deal since it may affect their investigations into Apollyon.
Hannah confronted her husband but she eventually agreed that the three of them must put their heads together. They have to coordinate their moves and decisions on this case to stop Apollyon from causing more damage and lives.
Meanwhile, NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 22, which is set to air on Tuesday, April 30, at 10:00 p.m. on CBS, will be the third to the last episode before the show bows out of the season.
