When Succession concluded last summer, it has become one of the few series who had a growing viewership rating. This is why it is not surprising that a new season was ordered from the show.
The renewal announcement has been long shared already. So, the question that has been circulating these days is all about its apparent return this year.
Based on the previous reports, Succession Season 2 is bound to premiere during the summer season of 2019. Although there has been no further information given about its actual release date, the recently released official trailer revealed that the all-new season would be finally given come August of this year.
This is exciting news for everyone who loves the dramedy and eventful plot of the popular HBO series. While most of the fandom is expecting a much earlier release, this is the best that they can get from Succession Season 2.
As for the cast members, it seemingly appears that everyone from the Roy Family is returning. Besides, the only one who reached his accidental yet imminent demise is the waiter from Shiv's wedding.
This demise has become one of the most apparent points that significantly turned Kendall's way of living around. As it happens, the finale of Succession Season 1 became a turning point for Kendall when this waiter met his demise while he was with him.
Although he has nothing to do with his accidental death as he tried to save him in the end, there's nothing left that he can do about it. And instead of asking help from the authorities, he just returned to the wedding as if nothing happened.
But surprisingly, Logan knew all about it and called him the next day. He told his son that he could turn things around and clean the mess for him. However, Kendall knew that this would only keep him under his father's grip. Nevertheless, the two reconciled which will be so much more emphasized when Succession Season 2 arrives.
As for Logan's eldest and oddest son, Connor, he revealed with his "escort girlfriend" Willow that he aspires to run for the presidency. Although there are no confirmations yet if he will truly take this path, it looks like that the next season will reveal all the answers.
