For 12 seasons, fans of The Big Bang Theory have wondered about the full name of Penny (played by Kaley Cuoco). However, they won't get any answer in the season finale because this will remain a secret until the end.

Cuoco told TV Line that she loves that the writers of The Big Bang Theory decided not to reveal her character's real name. However, there will also be plenty of secrets to divulge in the last episode.

As per the episode synopsis to The Big Bang Theory finale, Penny and her husband Leonard (played by Johnny Galecki) will be trying hard to keep a secret from the gang. There are loud speculations, however, that this may have something to do with the couple finally having children or they could be moving to a different city to start life anew.

According to Screen Rant, Penny and Leonard may decide to move near Leonard's mother's place in New Jersey to finally have a genuine mother-son relationship. Cuoco has said in interviews that the finale episode will be touching so this could be the hint that fans are looking for.

"It is the most beautiful finale I have ever seen, and I love finales. It is so touching. You're gonna cry, but most sweetly," Cuoco said, as per FOX News. "I don't know how to describe it, other than it's absolutely the sweetest thing in the world."

Cuoco's co-star Melissa Rauch (as Bernadette) also said that the finale episode of The Big Bang Theory would warm the hearts and satisfy the fans. Though she didn't want to sound biased, she described the last episode as the best finale she has ever seen of a sitcom.

Mayim Bialik (as Amy), on the other hand, said that The Big Bang Theory finale will be complicated but filled with depth. Nonetheless, the series will bring closure to some storylines while leaving some plots open-ended.

The Big Bang Theory finale will air in two parts. The first episode "The Change Constant" will focus on Sheldon (played by Jim Parsons) and Amy. The second episode "The Stockholm Syndrome" will wrap up the stories for all of the characters.

The final episode of The Big Bang Theory will air back-to-back on Thursday, May 16, at 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on CBS.
