Duchess Meghan Markle will not be at the private lunch which Queen Elizabeth is hosting for President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania. Set for Monday, June 3, at the Buckingham Palace, the former American actress won't be attending the special event since she's still on maternity leave.

According to FOX News, the Trumps will also be going on a tour at the Westminster Abbey with Prince Andrew after the lunch with the Queen. Prince Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla, will also host the American leader for tea at Clarence House, which will then be followed by state banquet dinner.

Duchess Meghan was vocal about her thoughts on Trump. Inside Edition had a clip of her speaking about Trump before the elections in 2016.

"I'm voting for Hillary Clinton, not because she is a woman, but because Trump has made it easy to see that you don't really want that kind of world that he's painting," Meghan said. She also described Trump as "misogynistic."

Meanwhile, the Duchess and Prince Harry are reportedly eager to bring their new-born son Archie Harrison to a trip overseas. According to The Sunday Times, House Sussex is preparing to go on an official tour in South Africa sometime this autumn.

By then, Archie would be at least five months old and could be ready to get on a long flight. Officials in South Africa have been told this early to prepare for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with their baby boy.

Africa has always been close to Harry, who often visited this continent when he's struggling with his feelings. Africa was the prince's retreat when he lost his mother, Princess Diana in the late '90s.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan also had their first lavish date in Botswana, Africa, during the early months of their relationship. They also got engaged in this region in 2017.

But House Sussex is also reportedly planning a trip to Los Angeles, Meghan's hometown, sometime this year. The Duchess wants her son to be in touch with her roots and will likely be making frequent visits to America because of this.

Meghan's mom, after all, is still based in the United States. Baby Archie, who is believed to have dual British and American citizenship, is expected to visit his grandmother as often as possible and vice versa.
