Billions season 4 episode 11 could find Wendy (played Maggie Siff) and Axe (played by Damian Lewis) heading a different direction together. As hinted in the previous episode, which aired on Sunday, May 26, at 9:00 p.m. on Showtime, these two people's relationship might change into a romance.

According to the episode synopsis of Billions season 4 episode 11, Wendy will try to "weigh her options" while Axe might consider "a risky move." Is it possible that this option for Wendy involves Axe, while Axe's risk could be about Wendy?

It finally dawned on Wendy in Billions season 4 episode 10 that there's no more love in her marriage to Chuck (played by Paul Giamatti). Their lives have diverged so differently with Chuck too consumed with revenge against his enemies in the business.

Meanwhile, there's Axe who has assured Wendy that he has her back even while Chuck seemed disengaged about his wife's struggles. It's one of the pivotal scenes of Billions season 4 episode 10, as Wendy headed to a mock trial to prepare herself for a panel with the medical board.

Axe also told Wendy that she was the only gem at Axe Capital. While he acknowledged her value as one of the people who worked for him, it was not lost on the viewers that there could be something else between Wendy and Axe in the future.

According to Entertainment Weekly, their relationship may not be sexual for now, but the vibe that something could deepen is present. Will Billions season 4 close with Wendy and Axe together?

Billions season 4 has two more episodes left to air on Showtime. On May 8, the cable network confirmed that the series had been renewed for season 5, as per Variety.

The show is one of Showtime's most-watched series with an average of 4.2 million viewers a week across different platforms. Billions also features Taylor Mason (played by Asia Kate Dillon), Bryan Connerty (played by Toby Leonard Moore Moore) and Waylon "Jock" Jeffcoat (played by Clancy Brown).

"We're loving season four and can't wait to buckle up for the wild ride that Brian and David and their brilliant cast have in store for us in season five," Showtime big boss Gary Levine stated in the renewal announcement. Speculations are that the next season will likely begin its run in the spring of 2020.
