Queen Elizabeth II recently went to the Balmoral Castle with his son Prince Edward and granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor. However, the monarch was reportedly forced out of the castle because of this reason.

Recently, Her Majesty went to Scotland with his youngest son and youngest granddaughter, and they were seen being driven to the church. Prince Edward's wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex and their youngest son James, Viscount Severn, are also believed to be at the Scottish retreat.

However, Queen Elizabeth was reportedly blocked and was asked to stay at her seven-bedroomed Craigowan Lodge because the Balmoral Castle has been taken over by swarms of tourists. The castle was open to about 50,000 annual visitors to walk through its door to get a glimpse of royal life.

The grounds and gardens opened on April 1 and will remain open to the public until July 31. Tourists were able to see the stable area, vegetable gardens, as well as the Ballroom - which is said to be the largest room in the castle.

Queen Elizabeth sported a regal royal blue coordinating suit, while Lady Louise is wearing a navy blue cardigan and she matched it with a white shirt. While her husband, Prince Philip usually accompanied her, the Duke of Edinburgh likely remains at home this time.

The monarch's visit also coincided with her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, 200th birthday, who, along with her husband Prince Albert, first bought the Balmoral Castle back in 1852. Also, a new set of ten stamps which plots the life of Queen Victoria were released this month to celebrate her and her husband's bicenteries.

Of those stamps, six illustrate the timeline that begins in 1830, when the royal was just 11-years-old princess, and it stretches to 1890 in the final years of her 63-year reign. The collection also includes Queen Victoria's marriage with Prince Albert, while the remaining four stamps celebrate the latter's legacy by featuring drawings of buildings related to him - including the Royal Albert Hall, as well as the Balmoral Castle.

Meanwhile, just last week, the monarch was also spotted with Kate Middleton and Prince William in two engagements. Her Majesty went at the Chelsea Flower Show to show her support to the Duchess of Cambridge's garden.

The royal couple toured Queen Elizabeth to the garden that Middleton designed herself. Before the opening, the Duchess took her three kids children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louise to the garden and had a great time during the visit.
