Prince Harry was all smiles when he faced the public at a royal garden party on Wednesday, May 29, at Buckingham Palace. He was his accompanying his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, to welcome at least 8,000 guests while his wife, Meghan Markle, is still on maternity leave.

This party is a tradition at the palace, which the Queen did not want to skip. It was established in the 1860s during the reign of Queen Victoria to recognize notable members of the community.

"Today the Duke of Sussex attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace alongside Her Majesty the Queen and other members of the royal family," the post from Sussex Royal on Instagram revealed. "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended their first official Garden Party as a couple last May at Buckingham Palace just days after their wedding, in celebration of the Prince of Wales' charity work, patronages and military affiliations."

Prince Harry just returned from a flight to Italy hours before he went on his grandmother's special affair as her "date." Before the garden party, he also accompanied the Queen in welcoming the ICC Cricket World Cup team who paid a royal visit, as per People.

Meanwhile, passengers on a flight to Italy spotted Prince Harry taking a coach seat on a commercial airline back to London. A fellow passenger took a photo of the Duke of Sussex and shared this online.

"I didn't want to harass him and felt bad taking one, but it isn't every day you see him!" the passenger shared, as per Yahoo Lifestyle.

Prince Harry went to Italy for the Sentable Polo Cup, which was a charity fundraiser. Despite the trip and his schedules, he was prepared to compete in the games and did an excellent job, according to one of his best friends, Nacho Figueras.

Figueras, who is also a polo player, revealed that even as Prince Harry is losing sleep over diaper changes and other duties as a new father, the prince seemed quite happy and content. Figueras also noted that he believes his friend is having an exciting time as a dad to a newborn.

On May 6, Prince Harry and Meghan welcomed their first-born son, Archie Harrison. The baby was overdue, but Meghan's labor and the birth of Archie went on without any hitches.

The royal couple is soon going to have Archie baptized at the Church of England. Details to this event, however, have not yet been revealed to the public.
