While Apple is announcing today the latest updates to its product lines, a new leak surfaced backing previous speculations concerning the triple camera setup of Apple iPhone XI. The latest leaks today are iPhone XR cases that show the design cutouts and hardware upgrades of the upcoming flagship phone. The general claim of most speculations nowadays is that the Cupertino-based tech titan is going to release a device that will add one more camera lens to each of the upcoming iPhone devices.
In other words, the Apple iPhone XI and the Apple iPhone XI Max will have a triple back camera set up while the Apple iPhone XIR will be equipped with the dual back camera setup. For the Apple iPhone XI and Apple iPhone XI Max, the extra lens will allow users to capture shots with ultra-wide angles. The Apple iPhone XIR, however, will be equipped with the lens that enables users to achieve up to 2X optical zoom.
It appears that these claims are backed by the leak that surfaced recently. The latest leak implies that the Cupertino tech titan will release a new set of products with new chassis and frame designs. 9to5mac disclosed that it recently received prototypes of the cases of the upcoming Apple iPhone XI.
Based on the appearance of the cases, it appears that the company is indeed going to release their flagship phones with the new camera setup. There is also a noticeable change in the positions of the volume and mute buttons. Additionally, the cases show the square cut on the rear part of the device, which according to some, is where the rear camera sensors will be placed.
Apart from the leak shared by 9to5mac, there are several sources claiming to have gotten the cases of the 2019 Apple iPhone XI. All of these claims reveal a square rear camera cutout. Another claim that surfaced recently is that the Apple iPhone XI will be released with a base storage of 128 GB.
According to the claim, most flagship devices are released with 128 GB base storage and Apple will reportedly follow suit. The current iPhone models have base storage of 64 GB while the two XS phone do not even have the 128 GB variant. These claims about the iPhone XI are purely unconfirmed and like all other claims, it is always smart to take these information with a grain of salt.
Except of course to the previous screenshot shared by 9to5Mac, about the iOS 13. So far, with the revelations and announcement today at the WWDC 2019 event, the screenshot is a spot on.
