Apple unveiled its new model in the iPad Pro series back in 2018, so naturally, a lot of people are expecting the device in the series. The ones released in 2018 were pretty impressive, and Apple deserves applause for its tablet series. For one, the face ID feature impressed a lot people, which means expectations for the next device is pretty high. We've rounded up some recent information and updates about the upcoming iPad Pro 2019, so you won't have to scour the internet if you're looking to purchase it shortly.

Reports suggest that Apple won't make any major changes in the design of the iPad Pro 2019 and that it will be more or less the same to the ones released last year. Face ID and thin bezels are expected to be included in the newer devices as usual. Rumors also suggest that the new iPad Pros could have OLED screens, but we'll need more solid evidence for that.

The iPad Pro 2019 is also expected to have a better iPadOS with better gestures, better multitasking, and of course, better performance. There could also be an increase of storage up to 128GB, and the device is said to have support for 5G connection.

As mentioned, the redesigned iPad Pros were introduced in 2018, three years after Apple had first used the term "iPad Pro." We've seen new iPad Pros of some description in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, though not always in the same month - so a 2019 launch seems likely.

With half the year gone it would seem a safe bet that the 2019 iPad Pro launch if it's happening, is going to come later in the year. Remember we've already had a new iPad Air and iPad Mini launch in March 2019, so Apple will want to leave a bit of breathing room before unveiling more models.

Maybe we'll see the newer iPad Pros later this year, and according to a T3 report, the 11-inch model could cost around $800 and the 12-inch models at $1000. Honestly, we're expecting very little upgrades in the 2019 iPad Pro devices. But we're not saying it's not worth a try. One thing we're sure of right now is that 2018 models will stay on sale after the iPad Pro 2019 comes out.
