The Realme 3 Pro is getting a new update. It brings several new features to the smartphone and also comes with the latest security patch.

Perhaps the most exciting feature the update brings to the Snapdragon 710-powered device is support for 240fps slow-motion recording. New apps are also being added, including a theme store to download cool themes, wallpapers, and icon packs.

To give you more options other than the Play Store, the update also adds the App Market, a place to download more apps; and Game Center, which is another app store but as the name suggests, you get to download a bunch of games. Do note that these apps are only available in some regions

Some areas will also get a Realme Account feature which should be similar to what you get when you set up a Mi account on Xiaomi devices.

Here is a complete list of everything the Realme 3 Pro update brings.

Another feature that's added to the smartphone is a new swipe-based gesture. It should allow users to navigate the phone by way of a simple swipe from the sides. An example is swiping from the bottom left or right of the screen and holding to switch to the previous app.

It has a 16MP + 5MP dual camera setup on its rear while a 25MP camera is in front for selfies. The phone has a fingerprint scanner, a 4045mAh battery, and support for VOOC 3.0 20W fast charging.

According to our benchmarks, the Realme 3 Pro is one of the fastest budget phones available in the market today, reaching single- and multi-core CPU scores of 1,441 and 5,824 in the Geekbench 4 test. In China, the Realme 3 Pro is being sold as the Realme X Lite.

Realme is gradually rolling out the update, but if you can't wait to get your hands on it, you can download it manually and install it.
