Everybody makes mistakes, and even royal announcements do, as the staff might be a little confusing if the royal couple was allowed not to follow certain royal protocols since Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. And a lot has been allowed lately when Meghan Markle married Prince Harry like the splitting of household and how the royal couple now enjoys some privacy, which their followers disagree with.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just recently had their firstborn, Archie Harrison christened in a private chapel with a private list of guests and godparents. Despite their need for privacy, the royal couple committed to giving a few details about the royal christening after the said event.
Photos were shared on the official royal account of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, courtesy of their official photographer Chris Allerton. On the day of the royal christening, July 6, Buckingham Palace tweeted out all the details of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son's christening.
However, the original tweet mislabeled Princess Diana's two sisters, Lady Jane Fellowes, and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, the royal ladies who were also in the photo, behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who were seated in the middle. The erroneous tweet was immediately deleted at 1 a.m. that night; perhaps they were in higher hopes that no one noticed it and quickly wrote the right order.
Some would think that the royals themselves are sometimes in charge of social media. However, Prince Charles wouldn't dare mistake his ex-girlfriend, Lady Sarah, to her sister. Funny though that both Buckingham Palace and Clarence House social media accounts made the same mistake, hinting the idea that maybe only one person was in charge of both accounts.
The corrected tweet for Buckingham Palace account made the arrangements specific as the caption indicated the royalties from left to right while Clarence House mentioned only their names in the order that maybe the readers already know how to pinpoint their royals. Meanwhile, the official Sussex royal account failed to mention the presence of Princess Diana's sisters and instead gave a short detail of Archie Harrison's gown.
According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan's son Archie was christened in the private chapel inside Windsor Castle on Saturday. Fewer than 25 people were in attendance, including Prince Charles and Camilla and Prince William and Kate. Archie's great-grandmother the Queen was, unfortunately, unable to attend because of a prior commitment; her busy schedule meant she also missed the christening of Archie's cousin Prince Louis last year.
