One of the major reasons why most of us do not go out and purchase the latest model of our dream car during its reveal stage is because it could be a bad decision. While cars are necessary for our everyday lives, the majority of cars, particularly the new models, are luxuries. If the vehicle does more than bring you from your origin to your destination, then most likely you are paying for the brand or the premium that comes with it because after all cars, are nothing but depreciating assets.

There are many exquisite examples from the classics but except if you are buying a classic car or a future classic car that is the rule you have to live by. However, not all think that it has to be the case, especially Tesla CEO Elon Musk. On Twitter, the chief executive officer of one of the most popular companies in the world recently shared how worthwhile of an investment a Tesla is.

The discussion started when Tesla's official Twitter account posted that several options for the Tesla Model 3 will be offered with a discount. The posted was answered by Quinn Nelson, a man who runs his own YouTube channel where he discusses tech products, said that he is not happy of the price cuts because he has paid more for the same options in his car.

This triggered a lengthy exchange of opinion and reached the subject of Elon Musk's previous claims that Tesla cars are not depreciating but rather appreciating assets. According to his previous tweet, if they are going to develop all cars with the FSD package self-driving, any Tesla would be worth between $100K and $200K since utility increases from 12 hours every week to 60 hours every week.

Tesla, the electric car maker popular for producing electric vehicles (EV) is currently making noticeable and needed changes. There were claims that the company has recently updated many things about their electric cars, particularly its prices. Tesla has decided to increase the rates of some of its fan-favorite Tesla EVs as predicted by many analysts.

Also, Tesla is doing away with a series of variants. Beginning in 2018, the company is regularly changing many things concerning its electric vehicles. This could be because it has reached the threshold of producing more than 200,000 vehicles, and the government has decreased tax credit to the popular electric vehicle company.
