Queer Eye season 4 is now streaming on Netflix as of Friday, July 19, 2019. This new season features eight episodes with the second one highlighting the inspiring story of Wesley Hamilton from Kansas City, Missouri.
Wesley was a victim of a shooting incident seven years, which has left him paralyzed, per Yahoo. His episode on Queer Eye season 4 is titled "Disabled but Not Really" and he got to spend a full week with the Fab Five -- Antoni Porowski (food), Tan France (fashion), Karamo Brown (culture), Bobby Berk (home design) and Jonathan Van Ness (grooming).
This was a special episode because the Fab Five orchestrated a way for Wesley to get complete closure on Queer Eye season 4 episode 2. Karamo planned for him to meet and talk to Maurice, who was responsible for shooting him.
Karamo told Men's Health that the two talked for over two and a half hours. It was truly a healing moment for both men, and Wesley expressed that it wasn't as dreadful and difficult as he thought.
"I want people to realize that these two men weren't bad-they were a product of systemic issues that caused them to believe that violence was an option," Karamo said in his message to viewers of Queer Eye season 4. "I want people to realize that through healthy/supervised conversation, anyone can begin to take steps to heal from a traumatic situation."
Meanwhile, Queer Eye season 4 will also feature the story of Brandonn Mixon, a former soldier. His episode is the seventh one, and it's titled "Soldier Returns Home."
Brandon suffers from a traumatic brain injury after serving his time in Afghanistan. He's currently working with the Veterans Community Organization, but he's struggling to finish some of his projects, per Distractify.
The Fab Five were on hand to help Brandon find his groove. They made him over so that he'll have more confidence and look presentable as he talks to more donors like politicians and businessmen.
Queer Eye season 4 is currently on Netflix along with seasons 1 to 3. The rest of the episodes are titled "Without Further Ado" featuring Kathi, "Stoners Skates By" featuring John, "How Wanda Got Her Groove Back," featuring Wanda, "On Golden Kenny" featuring Kenny, "A Tale of Two Cultures," featuring Deanna, and "Farm to Able" featuring Matt.
