NetherRealm Studios has a small piece of content prepared for the players of "Mortal Kombat 11" as they wait for the arrival of the DLC character included in the Ultra Pack 1. Players starting August 22 will be able to get their hands on a brand-new DLC skin for free. The DLC character skin for Sub Zero imagines musician and DJ Dimitri Vegas as the popular character.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios recently announced that a brand new Sub Zero DLC skin would be released to Mortal Kombat 11" players on all platforms starting August 22. This is the chance of the game developer to pay back for the artist who helped produce the music for the promotional trailers and reveals of Mortal Kombat 11." This is also another way to give something to players and a way to appease those disappointing ones on the release date of their favorite characters like Sindel, Spawn, and Nightwolf, who until now is just being teased by the game's creative director.

Dimitri Vegas is an international DJ and considered as one of the best in his craft. He is also an actor and a DJ. Many would ask why the international DJ is getting a DLC skin in "Mortal Kombat 11." Although NetherRealm Studios did not reveal anything about it, Dimitri Vegas has collaborated with NRS in the past and worked on the remix of the classic theme of the game based on the 1995 film.

This same remixed theme was utilized by the game developer on the launch trailer of "Mortal Kombat 11." Dimitri also created the song titled "You're Next" featured regularly at the game's reveal trailer during the 2018's The Game Awards. While NetherRealm Studios did not give more details about the upcoming free DLC skin, it gave some hint on what the skin will look like, which is the DJ dressed up as Sub Zero less the full Lin Kuei hood and mask.

The announcement of the free Sub-Zero DLC skin came at an opportune time for "Mortal Kombat 11" with several players sharing their frustrations with game director Ed Boon trolling the fans. Some players feel that NetherRealm Studios has placed too much secrecy on the reveals as well as on the details of DLC characters. They complained that the game developer charges them for a Season Pass that comes with mysterious offerings.
