Kim Kardashian-West is currently facing a lot of backlash from bashers and netizens worldwide for a controversial pic of her six-year-old daughter, North West, whom she shares with husband, Kanye West.
Those who are up to date with the happenings in the Kardashian-Jenner clan know that the enormous family recently celebrated Mary Jo Campbell's 85th birthday with another one of their iconic and lavish parties. MJ is occasionally featured on their long-running American reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, as she is the mother of the Kardashian-Jenner clan "momager" and matriarch, Kris Jenner, 63.
Kris recently took to her Instagram accounts to post a couple of black-and-white photographs from the said birthday celebration. Most of her family members were featured in the beautiful pictures she shared to her 28 million followers on her account.
However, one particular snapshot ended up becoming a controversial photo and another hit at Kim's parenting skills.
In the trending photo, North is seen sporting a bindi on her forehead as well as a shocking nose ring. North is seen posing alongside her aunts Kourtney Kardashian, 40, and Khloe Kardashian, 35, and in the picture as well are her two other cousins, Penelope Disick, 7, and True Thompson, 1.
People who saw the post were quick to fire negative comments and bash the 38-year-old mother for allowing a six-year-old to have her nose pierced and to wear a nose ring to a family gathering. One user wrote that North is apparently too grown up for her age. The user slams Kim for allowing her daughter to wear clothes that are not age-appropriate, such as the couple of belly shirts North has been photographed in, wearing Kim's high heels to parties, and even using makeup every so often.
Another user had even called Kim out for alleged culture appropriation due to the bindi on her daughter's forehead. The same user tries to make a point by asking when have Armenian people ever worn bindis and further on pointed out that the Kardashian-Jenner sisters were apparently ripping off black culture. She then argues for them to keep their children out of their mess.
Kim then clapped back at the bashers by posting the photo on her Instagram story and writing that it was just a fake nose ring that North was wearing. Although, she has chosen to deal with the negative and hateful comments from netizens in this way, people predict that if the situation gets any worse, she will start addressing these haters more directly in the usual way she does when she is called out.
This is not the first time the mother of four has been publicly called out for her alleged lack of parenting skills. As some would remember that months back, people online including doctors and other medical professionals had called out Kim when she posted a picture of her fourth child, Psalm West, merely hours after he was born.
The picture was of the baby lying on his stomach on a pillow with a blanket draped on him and lots of pillows propping him up and surrounding him. Netizens had called her out for the position she had put her child to sleep, since it could apparently cause Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
However, Kim still tries to remain unbothered by the plethora of negativity and hate she receives online.
