You Me Her season 5 has wrapped up production in Vancouver. The romantic drama series, which runs on Audience Network via Direct TV, has scored a renewal in May 2019 but the fifth season will be the last in the series.

A post on Twitter from its production company eOne TV confirmed that You Me Her season 5 has finished filming. Work on the set also started just last May, when its renewal was confirmed.

"We can't wait for you to see the final season - until then, you can catch the all-new season 4 on Netflix worldwide!" the post stated.

According to Deadline, Gail Harvey directed the episodes of You Me Her season 5. Showrunner and creator John Scott Shepherd has written 10 episodes as with the previous seasons.

You Me Her is about the boring marriage between Jack (Greg Poehler) and Emma (Rachel Blanchard). They don't have kids in their 30s because of a lack of sex drive until Jack meets a college student named Izzy (Priscilla Faia) and introduces her to his wife.

Jack has this idea that Izzy could help with their problems to conceive. However, the couple eventually falls in love with her so Jack and Emma agree that she could be part of their marriage as their lover.

You Me Her is a polyamorous love story that challenges all conventions. However, as a romantic comedy, this series hasn't generated many controversies but it has drawn a lot of laughs from its viewers.

After Jack, Emma and Izzy had their commitment ceremony in You Me Her season 3, the trio moved into a new suburb in Oregon. In You Me Her season 4, which culminated in June, the Trakarsky dealt with new challenges as the neighbors learned they are a different kind of modern family.

Meanwhile, according to What's On NetflixYou Me Her is also on the streaming platform outside of U.S. territories like Sweden, France, South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Hong Kong, Australia and the United Kingdom. The company started airing the earlier seasons in 2017 and season 4 has launched last July 12.

It's expected that You Me Her season 5 will also drop on Netflix but not until the summer of 2020. For U.S. viewers, however, the series is only accessible on the Audience Network while Canadian viewers can access this series via HBO.
