Amid the political flurry President Donald Trump has found himself in, Melania Trump appears to be unfazed by the recent televised testimony of the former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Robert Mueller. The First Lady recently tweeted about how Christmas planning has already begun to make her busy up at the White House.

Earlier this week, Mueller, who was also known as the former special counsel for the United States Department of Justice, shocked the whole United States with his testimony in front of the American Congress about the intelligence he had gained on Trump's association with the Russian government. Reports also revealed how it all traced back to a hacking incident during the 2016 presidential elections.

Trump, who had made it seem like the issue was beneath him and maintained he would not be caught dead tuning into the nationwide televised testimony, had been doing the total opposite of what he claimed. It was clear that the President had been keeping a close eye on the situation and had sat through the entire seven-hour hearing to hear what Mueller had to say. He was also notably speaking to some reporters just outside the White House after the testimony was over and had even lashed out on some of these reporters.

However, his wife had been occupied with other seemingly trifle matters. During Mueller's testimony, Melania had reportedly taken to her Twitter account to share a post saying Christmas planning had already begun in the East Wing of the White House.

Netizens were quick to point out that her tweet was sent in the middle of Mueller's testimony. It seems like the First Lady has more important business to attend to than her husband's probable exoneration.

The countless Twitter critics, who have long been attacking both Melania and Donald on their Twitter account for his mostly insensitive rants, were more than eager to pounce on Melania with the incongruent tweet which was sent in the middle of such a crucial political controversy in her and her husband's lives.

One Twitter user replied to her tweet saying she and her husband might not even still be in the White House by December, so why bother to fuss over the Christmas decorations. The user added that, of course, she was not aware of that fact, since she was not listening in to the trending Mueller testimony and, instead, attending to frivolities in the White House.

Another user in an excellent stroke of wit, wrote in reply to the First Lady's tweet asking her what this year's Christmas theme at the White House would be and if it were by any chance "kids" who were in "cages."

These are only a few of the millions of negative replies and hateful comments from netizens who are thoroughly against not only Melania as First Lady but her husband Donald and all he stands for, particularly misogyny enablers and immigrant haters under his administration.

But, one thing's for sure: nothing is stopping this First Lady from ensuring a fashionable Christmas at the White House this coming December.
