Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for Money Heist Season 3.
It's been just over a week since Money Heist Part 3 premiered on Netflix. But even so, there are already reports circulating all over the media that the hit and popular foreign language television series will return on the platform for a new season. And the series creator has largely confirmed the update.
According to What's On Netflix, Alex Pina, confirmed last week that the fourth part of the show is already in the process of filming. Therefore, many take it as good as its renewal decision.
Money Heist became a hit material on Netflix after the platform picked up the show to air "internationally." As it happens, the first two parts of the series first premiered in 2017 on Antenna 3 in Spain. And it is only recently that the show has become a Netflix Original material.
Having only a total of eight episodes, the fans were able to finish the show easily. Accordingly, the talks of its renewal have become very apparent even just a week after the premiere. And while the series creator has already confirmed about the show's filming, no word has heard from Netflix yet.
It is worth noting that Netflix still has the final say about the show's renewal on the platform. And normally, the streaming service discloses its decisions a month after the premiere. So, whether Money Heist Part 4 will return on Netflix or not, it is still unknown. Nevertheless, the fans are already fixed that there will be a continuation of the show.
Money Heist Part 3 ended with a thrilling cliffhanger. With the words, "And, this is war," it already hinted that more dangers and heists are about to arrive. Not to mention, Nairobi was shot, and Lisbon was taken into custody. It is believed that she will be tortured the same way they did to Rio as per The Oprah Magazine.
With these hanging arcs and storylines, it is only safe to assume that the next season will explore more of these courses. And if Netflix decides to official renew the show, then it is very likely that Money Heist Part 4 will arrive on the platform in 2020.
So far, these are the only details that have been shared about the show's future. And certainly, there will be more updates once Netflix announced the show's renewal in the coming weeks.
