Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for Claws Season 3.

With only three episodes left, Claws Season 3 is about to reach its imminent end. And based on the recent events, it appears that things for Desna and the rest of the crew are turning way south.

It is not that surprising at all that the dangers and risks are getting more out of hand. But even so, Desna's commitment to building a better life for her and her family will surely prevail. Nevertheless, it will be quite challenging and dangerous for everyone.

During the seventh episode of Claws Season 3, a triad representative arrived and seemingly "intimidated" Desna. And according to Cartermatt, the upcoming episode will likely pick up this course.

Also, the publication speculates that the triad might be the real "big bad" of the season. And this is in consideration of what happened with Arlene. So, if Desna would not agree to the terms of the representative, definitely, Arlene won't be the last person who ended up dead.

These theories are all viable and likely to happen. And based on reports, the fans are very much looking forward to the remaining episodes of Claws Season 3. But aside from the thrilling and compelling plot, another factor that makes the next episode so much more exciting is because the episode is directed by Carrie Preston, who plays the role of Poly.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Carrie Preston shared her experiences during the filming and production. According to the actress, directing the episode was challenging. Not only that this was her directorial debut, but the episode itself is too challenging as it is already heading the finale.

Even so, the Claws main cast member contended that it might be challenging, but with the collaborative effort with the whole production team, they were able to produce one great episode at the end of the day.

This is not the first time that the show has allowed its cast member to direct an episode. As it happens, Neicy Nash, who plays the role of Desna, also directed an episode for the third season.

As for the show's future, no word has heard from TNT yet if the show will be renewed for a new season. So, these details might be revealed once the show concludes on August 11.

Claws Season 3 Episode 8 titled, What is Happening to America, is set to air on July 28, on TNT.
