Fresh from winning the NBA Championship with the Toronto Raptors, Jeremy Lin is facing a huge crisis with his current status in the league's free agency. The still unsigned guard recently shared how he feels about his current status in the league at an event in Taiwan.

At the event, Lin said, "There's a saying, and it says once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up. But rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me. So, free agency has been tough. 'Cause I feel like, in some ways, the NBA has kind of given up on me."

At the event, Lin is visibly shaken by his emotions and he could hardly hold his tears. Nevertheless, he still keeps an optimistic view of his current situation and he is hoping that another team will pick and sign him up for the next season.

Lin, with his Linsanity persona, was once on the apex of his career and the league. This was back when he was playing for the New York Knicks. During his tenure with the Knicks, he racked an impressive stint with an average of 26.8 points per game over a six-game winning streak.

After his venture with the Knicks, Lin jumped through a number of teams before landing with the Toronto Raptors from the Atlanta Hawks. While in the Raptors, he was forced to sit the bench as the team has a number of more potent guards to play his position. Among them are Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet. Throughout the whole postseason, Lin only played 27 minutes, something that many analysts believed may have severely affected his value.

Lin's career has been riddled with a number of devastating injuries, something that has kept him on the sideline instead of the hardcourt. In 2016, he signed a three-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets for a reportedly $36 million. His tenure with the Nets was limited due to a recurring hamstring injury which limited him to just 36 games during his first season. He did eventually recover only to be sideline again after suffering a season-ending injury during the opening game of the next year's season no less.

As for his future, Lin said that there are a number of Euroleague clubs have shown interest towards acquiring his talents. CSKA Moscow, the current Euroleague champions, are reportedly targeting him. Lin has also said that he is also looking forward into continuing his career in Asia.
