A royal author revealed that Princess Diana was already fatally damaged by her childhood experiences before she married Prince Charles. Her experiences affected caused an unhappy and disastrous marriage.

The Princess of Wales grew up on a broken family. Her parents didn't live under the same roof when they separated. The mother of two experienced loss and rejection since she was still young. Penny Junor revealed the troubled childhood of the Princess in her book "The Firm." She said that at 19, she was little more than a child when she first arrived, totally unprepared for the life that lay ahead and completely out of her depth.

Ms. Junor explained that she was a romantic, an innocent; she knew nothing of life or work or relationships. The author wrote that she only knew about loss and rejection, which is an effect of the divorce of her parents. Ms. Junor said that the experience had fatally damaged her. The author also mentioned that she had no self-confidence, no stability, just a desperate need to be loved and wanted; and a determination to get what she wanted.

The Princess of Wales was only 19 years old when she was first introduced to Prince Charles. The couple dated for a while and decided to marry.

Diana later doubted that Charles had an affair with Camilla when she discovered her present on Charles desk. It was a gold bracelet engraved with letters "G" and "F," refers to Charles and Camilla's pet names Fred and Gladys. Prince Charles' former private secretary, Micheal Colborne, said that the Princess broke down in tears when she saw the bracelet.

Her doubt was confirmed when she discovered a letter from Camilla asking her to go out for lunch in a London Restaurant. Camilla revealed her intention of spending time with Charles during the annual hunting event with the royal family while they were having lunch.

Charles and Diana have many incompatibilities while he and Camilla have many common interests and hobbies. Their marriage ended in divorce because of their differences. It is, however, known to many of Charles friends that he was not in love with her when they married. Charles was reported to give shocking remarks about her before they were married. He believed that she was too young to get married. He once told his friends she is like a baby. Many of Charles friends predicted that the marriage would not last.
