Manchester United appears to be putting a lot of effort to Marcus Rashford. According to reports, the Old Trafford has been giving the 21 years old football player the same routine drills that transformed Cristiano Ronaldo in the Red Devil's legend. This act, allegedly, is the team's attempt to replicate what happened to the Portuguese superstar.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sold Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan and instructed Marcus Rashford to step up to fill the void that was left by the Belgian football player. Just like Cristiano Ronaldo, Rashford now spends most of his career at Manchester United on the wings. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants him to play center positions.
In a report by Mirror, it states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is personally handling the striking drills with Marcus Rashford and has been leaning on the same routines that helped Ronaldo transform from a tricky winger into a lethal forward. According to the report, the sessions are centered on one and two finishes. Additionally, Marcus Rashford is also encouraged to perform runs from out to in just like he did during the Red Devils victory against Chelsea last weekend.
The Manchester United manager reportedly sees several similarities between Cristiano Ronaldo and the England football players and believes that Marcus Rashford could be further developed into the same football player like Cristiano Ronaldo. Additionally, Rashford has been advised to watch videos of the Portuguese football legend and other videos of lethal strikers, so he could study and replicate their moves and anticipation particularly in the penalty area.

It is possible that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping that his attention to Marcus Rashford will have the same rewards to those that Ronaldo delivered at Manchester United. The club, right now has no recognized out and out goal scorer in their lineup. It can be recalled that Ronaldo made 40 goals in just a single campaign for the Old Trafford.
Cristiano Ronaldo made a surprising 42 goals in 2007 to 2008, and there is a general belief within Manchester United that the same could be accomplished by Marcus Rashford. It is worth noting that the England football player scored twice during the Red Devils' match against Chelsea with 4-0 final score. Manchester United is hoping that Rashford could add more to this impressive start against Wolves on Monday at Molineux.
